Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga with dynamic characteristics. During practice movements with breathing (the coordination of movements and breathing is called Vinyasa) are coordinated. It is distinguished by working intensely in the strength, flexibility and phsycial endurance, developing breathing capacity and muscle in general.
During the last 10 minutes of  of the session, final relaxation is practiced. Due to strong physical and respiratory work, the body and mind relax , silently giving great energy and health to the body and a deep calm relaxation to the mind.

It differs from the hatha yoga vinyasa practice. Vinyasa literally means system of synchronized movements and breathing. And these movements is one position linked with the other. Each posture is meticulously designed with a number of movements and breaths so that an advanced student will link the posture faithfully following the rhythm of breathing along  with the movement. The sequence of postures always is the same and the student will add positions as the practice progresses. Apart from the system of vinyasa, other elements are essential to the practice: Ujjayi breathing (pranayama), bands (energy locks), the dristi (views) help the practitioner to concentrate and increase energy throughout practice.
